How the project estimate works
- Add a room or material line and choose its calculator.
- Enter measurements, product coverage and your selected allowance.
- Enter a price per displayed purchase unit. Leave it at zero for an unpriced line.
- Add project delivery and optional tax, then calculate and download the shopping list.
Worked example
A flooring line covering 20 m² plus 10% extra needs 11 packs at 2 m² per pack. At £25 per pack, this line costs £275. A second room stays on its own line, so different products and units are not accidentally combined.
Important limits
This is a quantity and budgeting worksheet, not an engineering design. It does not optimize cutting layouts or choose specifications. Delivery and entered tax apply to the combined project; check whether your quotes already include them. Currency selection labels the amounts and does not convert exchange rates.
